This is a drug that causes a reaction in the receptors of the brain, as it binds to the receptors and causes them to activate, which in turn causes the person taking the drug to be affected in a certain way.
When a person uses drugs, there is a point at which they cannot get any “higher” and if they continue to ingest drugs at this point, the effect will not cause a greater level of intoxication; it will merely stay the same, for longer.
