Multidisciplinary Addictions Team

Addictions treatment centres are generally regarded as being able to more effectively provide comprehensive addictions advice and rehab through developing a Multidisciplinary Addictions Team.
This clinical team could include doctors, social workers, psychologists, accredited addictions counsellor, psychotherapists, art therapists, perhaps even a priest, rabbi or imam, acupuncture, chiropractic, massage etc. This combined effort from all addiction treatment consultants is what defines best practice.
